An older AFM that works but is probably superceded by better ones on campus and software is becoming a limitation. The enclosure however has potential for any other high end remotely operated microscope where thermal stability is more critical. The insulation inside is starting to let go (foam degradation) but this would be relatively cheap to reinstate.
